Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has gained the Republican major in her Georgia district, placing her on the course to be reelected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

The controversial Republican, who is serving her first time period in the House, defeated her opponent Jennifer Strahan and 4 different fellow Republican candidates in the major race Tuesday, The Associated Press reports.

“Sending me to lower back to Washington will ship a message to the bloodsucking establishment: It is we who will set the coverage agenda for the subsequent decade and now not them,” 47-year-old Greene stated in her victory speech, per the outlet. “We’re going to begin talking the reality extra forcefully and greater loudly than ever before.”

Among different topics, she touched upon in her remarks after the win covered calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden and her opposition to masks and vaccine mandates, as properly as mourning “the merciless and unlawful therapy of many nonviolent Jan. 6 protesters,” per The Associated Press. Meanwhile, in response to the Texas Elementary School Shooting on Tuesday, Greene tweeted:

“We do not want extra gun control”

“Our state desires to take a serious seem at the nation of intellectual fitness today,” she wrote. “Sometimes meds can be the problem. America is failing our youngest generations for a long time by rejecting accurate ethical values and teachings.”

“We want to return to God,” she added. There used to be a danger that Greene’s title would have been eliminated from the important ballot after a crew of voters in her district argued she have to be disqualified from going for walks for office, due to her help of those who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and her objection to the Electoral College consequences that indicated Biden received the presidency over Donald Trump.
