Introductions

India is a democratic country. It provides programme like free and compulsory education or Universalisation of education up to Elementary stage in order to educate each and every child of the nation. As a significant part of whole educational system. Elementary education plays a major role in the development of human resources of country. 

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is an effort to Universalisation elementary education and an opportunity for improving human capabilities. To assure the existence of human being in the always changing environment, education is needed to find out the keys to make them fit and to be eligible for change. This is an effective outcome of collective efforts of human society. It has been approved by the society; it has also been considered as an essential process to find out important ways against the problems of existence. Education is a process to fit in the always changing environment to regulate own capabilities appropriately as per own nature to perform in the process of effective interaction.

     Education is a stimulating process which can stimulate whole systems of human personality. It is required to meet the situation for adjustment. It is a process to regulate own adaptability to regulate own capabilities in respect to the basic characteristics of the society. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is a programme which has a basic objective for universalizing the Elementary Education throughout the country. To make education as relevant in favour of the humanity as well as national development, SSA is an effective programme having the principles of universalization as well as quality education. In India, social security is an important objective of societies to meet the need of adjustment. Gender

discrimination is a present problem of society to marginalize the objectives of women citizen

through establishing the mechanism of grand exploitation within the society. To regulate the

process of gender streaming in the society, SSA has been designed appropriately to meet the

basic elementary education. It has also focused on the problems of backwards communities

like SC & ST, linguistic and religious minorities in all over the country. To resist the rapid growth of socio-economic insecurity in all over the country, SSA has been designed to approve social justice within the society with the collective participation state and central.

Statement of The Problem

“A study on Attitude of the scholars towards Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) at elementary level.”

Operational Definitions

Students, For the present study students who are learning in school of Jaleswarpur UG UP school.(You can take any school name )

Attitude

For the present study attitude means the mental feelings of a person towards an object,

person, activity or thought which are developed by his own experiences regarding that objects

person activity or thought and which direct him to react to these accordingly.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA)

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is a policy which means ‘educate to all’. These words are of

Hindi Language and all the three words have different meaning: – ‘Sarva’ means to all,

“shiksha’ means education and “abhiyan’ means movement. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan means

movement. Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan means movement to the country. The policy aims to

educate all the children up to the age of 14 years.

Objectives of The Study

1. To compare the attitude of male and female Elementary School students towards Sarva

Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA).

2. To measure the attitude of students of elementary education about Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA).

3. To describe the nature of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) as per the attitudinal patterns of

students.

4, To find out school wise mean different in respect to attitude regarding Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

Hypotheses

1. There is no significant difference between the attitude of male and female elementary

students towards Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).

2. There is no significant attitude of elementary school students about (SSA).

3. There is no significant attitudial difference between different school regarding SSA.

4 There is no significant difference between various age group of students

Delimitation of The Study

Due to paucity of time and resources, the study is delimited in the following areas: –

1. The study is delimited to the Elementary School students only.

2. The sample is delimited only from Jaleswarpur U.G. U.P school only.

3. The study is delimited to 50 students only.

Conclusion

At the end of the study it has been concluded that attitude of elementary students regarding

the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA),Project to meet the objective of Universalization of

ElementaryEducation (UEE) is satisfactory .This satisfactory result has been in terms of

gender; but it the case of locality, significant different has been found in rural area, its

influence has been found elementary then rural area response variation in the level of

elementary point of measurement scale has been found in this study’s.
