The portal to book a MediaWise Campus Correspondent for your classroom this fall is now open
In early March 2020, with funding from Facebook, I had 10 university college students from during the country trip to Poynter to train as our first Campus Correspondents crew (sure, make that calendar account).
They bought right here from areas simply like the State of Michigan, Stony Brook, and the State of Mississippi
Our format was once for each of them to go again to their campuses and educate pupil groups like newspapers, sororities and political clubs to inform reality from fiction online.
By the grace of God, none of these college students bought sick from what would be an worldwide disaster simply a week later. Instead, we made a Plan B: digital school room visits. (Remember when that appeared novel?)
Now right here we are, two and a half of years later, and we’re still challenging at work coaching university college students to assist their friends inform reality from fiction online.
